LIFTKET Hoffmann GmbH is an internationally renowned manufacturer of electric chain hoists in the capacity range from 125 kg to 25,000 kg. On the company premises near Leipzig, around 250 employees currently design, develop and manufacture hoist solutions for the three business units INDUSTRY, CUSTOM and STAGE. A strong global network of service and sales partners ensures customer-oriented warehousing, maintenance and repair. LIFTKET manufactures modular electric chain hoists for almost all applications involving the safe and precise lifting of loads. Founded in 1948 by D. Hoffmann, the company initially developed agricultural equipment before specializing in electric chain hoists from 1953. Hoffmann’s innovations, namely the horizontal mounting of motor and gearbox and the patented safety brake/clutch system, set the standard for electric chain hoists. Among the three world leaders, the company is the one that focuses exclusively on supplying the specialized dealers in the hoist industry and thus does not compete with them.
